Role Purpose:


1. Production Optimization:

  1. Thoroughly review and refine existing production processes for heightened efficiency.
  2. Devise and implement strategies aimed at elevating both the quality and quantity of chili powder output.
  3. Develop various mixes based on the requirement of the buyers 
  4. Provide training to the field staff and FPC directors on how to prepare procure and process NTFP

2. Process Improvement:

  1. Identify areas for process improvement and recommend changes.
  2. Introduce efficient production techniques and technologies.

3. Quality Assurance:

  1. Develop and implement robust quality control measures to guarantee the consistent production of NTFP processing 
  2. Conduct regular quality checks and promptly implement corrective actions when necessary.
  3. Define precise quality parameters for assessing NTFP and establish a comprehensive mechanism for quality checks of both raw materials and the final powder.
  4. Develop and implement protocols for drying and moisture maintenance during the storage period. 

4. Storage 

  1. Define and establish procedures for the storage of raw materials, finished products, and ancillary items such as packaging materials.
  2. Implement cold chain storage procedures, ensure meticulous temperature control, and provide comprehensive training to the team.
  3. Establish and communicate best practices for the storage of raw materials to maintain quality of the raw material as well as finished products. 

5. Inventory management 

  1. Implement efficient inventory management practices to minimize losses and uphold product quality.
  2. Define a streamlined mechanism for inventory management within the unit.
  3. Improve the record-keeping and stock-keeping processes for all product types.
  4. Responsible for all licenses renewals and updates on timely basis 

6. Supply chain management

  1. Identify buyers, share samples, get orders and supply required quantities.
  2. Coordinate marketing and sales teams to facilitate efficient order management.
  3. Prepare a production plan in alignment with the orders received, ensuring a seamless coordination between production and demand

7. Health and Safety Compliance:

  1. Define comprehensive protocols and establish measures to maintain health and safety regulations within the processing unit.
  2. Ensure strict adherence to health and safety standards, conducting regular safety audits.
  3. Implement corrective measures as necessary to uphold a safe working environment

 

8. Team Training and Development:

  1. Provide comprehensive training to the production team on the implementation of new processes and technologies.
  2. Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging skill development and innovation within the team.

   9. Procurement and marketing

  1.  Procurement of raw chilli from the FPO shareholders as per the standard parameters
  2. Identify vendors and market for the NTFP commodities with reasonable margins for the FPO
  3. Procure the NTFP for for processing usage
  4. Identify the input suppliers and connect to FPO for the FPO input business
