Location: Bengaluru (Hybrid)

Team: Marketing and Communications (MarComms)

Reports to: Marketing and Communications Manager


Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and creative Communications Associate to join our MarComms team. This is an entry-level role ideal for someone who enjoys writing, has a keen design eye, and is eager to learn the ropes of communications in the development sector.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Content Writing:
  2. Draft social media posts, blogs, case studies, and newsletter content
  3. Support internal communications and external campaigns
  4. Design Support:
  5. Create basic visual assets using Canva or Adobe tools
  6. Support in designing presentations, reports, and infographics
  7. Stakeholder Coordination:
  8. Liaise with internal teams (consultants, research, implementation) to gather content
  9. Coordinate with vendors and external partners (designers, printers, media, etc.)
  10. Digital Support & Social Media Management:
  11. Help schedule and post content on CMS’s LinkedIn and other digital channels
  12. Track engagement and suggest improvements
  13. Learning & Development:
  14. Stay updated with trends in social impact storytelling and design
  15. Be proactive in contributing new ideas and approaches

Qualifications & Skills

  1. Strong writing skills (English); ability to adapt tone for different audiences
  2. Basic design skills (Canva, Adobe Express, or similar)
  3. Organized and proactive; comfortable with coordination and multitasking
  4. A background in communications, media, development studies, or related fields preferred
  5. Interest in the development/social impact space
