Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead district planning, implementation, and convergence across Health, ICDS, DRDA, SERP/SHGs, and PRIs.
  2. Strengthen continuum of care through improved screening, referral, tracking, and follow-up systems.
  3. Support in implementation of Sanjeevini Project 


Capacity Building & Training

  1. Design and develop training modules, session plans, and IEC materials using Participatory Learning and Action (PLA).
  2. Plan and facilitate training, ToTs, and on-site mentoring for frontline workers and facility staff.
  3. Build competencies in risk identification, case management, referral, and follow-up care.


Digital Systems & HRP Tracking

  1. Support implementation of digital pregnancy tracking systems for longitudinal tracking (ANC–PNC).
  2. Facilitate HRP identification, prioritization, and tracking using integrated data (RCH + facility).
  3. Strengthen use of real-time dashboards for decision-making and train district teams on usage.


Maternal Health Interventions (System Strengthening)

  1. Support rollout of FCM-based screen-and-treat model for severe anemia including line-listing, protocol adherence, and training.
  2. Facilitate implementation of standardized PPH management protocols (EMOTIVE) through training, mentoring, and adherence monitoring.
  3. Strengthen labour room quality and intrapartum care through introduction of monitoring tools, SOPs, and staff capacity building.
  4. Facilitate support in introduction of MedTech devices. 


Care Coordination & Service Delivery

  1. Strengthen beneficiary tracking, referral linkages, and follow-up mechanisms to reduce missed high-risk cases.
  2. Improve service coverage across ANC, delivery, and PNC continuum, ensuring client-centric care.


Community Engagement

  1. Mobilize SHGs and PRIs for community awareness, behavior change, and service uptake, especially in tribal areas.
  2. Conduct PLA-based sessions to improve health-seeking behavior and accountability.


Monitoring, Learning & Scale-Up

  1. Establish M&E systems, dashboards, and review mechanisms for data-driven decision-making.
  2. Conduct training assessments, data validation, and periodic reviews.
  3. Document learnings, support implementation research, and contribute to scale-up strategies and financing models.
